We love our Crabs Claw off season but on season it's tough to get a table. We had a great lunch, as usual, but the service was excellent. Sydney was great. So sweet and attentive. If you're lucky enough to get a table, ask for Sydney!
Talk about a hidden gem!!!! Drinks were perfect and food was a perfect match. This place has a 100% old school vibe atmosphere and that’s my kinda place!!!! Meals were amazing and the drinks and service were amazing. I only wish I found this place years ago. If you like beer, check out the 99 beer club.... You won’t be disappointed Steamers were fkn amazing.... And I’m from more England, these put the normal steamers to SHAME. Can’t wait to revisit again
Went off season for lunch. Service good. Happened to be taco Tuesday and they were yummy. 15 for 2 large taco and rice and beans. Had fish and coconut shrimp. It’s crazy here in the summer so was nice to experience off season.
Another one of my favorite local restaurants. I prefer to go off season since the summer gets crowded and there’s a decent wait time. Today I went for a business lunch and had a delicious blackened swordfish steak. My client had the same but he also had Manhattan clam chowder and said it was the best he’s ever had. So if you’re in the area this is a great place to get really fresh fish . Not gonna lie it could use a little cosmetic update but it’s clean and has a favorite local restaurant for many years that everyone enjoys!

SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING WITH LORI WAITING ON US. I start with this because that woman must have been born with a smile and service was impeccable. Food entree ( seafood pie) was Fantastic. Appetizer of clams casino was really flavorful. Ambience was above average. Prices were spot on. Did I say Lori was just perfect?
I haven’t been here is a very long time. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Had Manhattan clam chowder to start and stuffed mushrooms. They were good. For dinner I had fish and chips. Nice portion 5 pieces of fish. It’s was very good. Great staff.
My first time here and this is now my new place to eat every time I’m in Lavalette!!!! The softshell crab was so beefy the angel hair pasta was cooked to perfection.. Bring your family you will not be disappointed
